BetaVest provides you with all the latest updates for your software. Find the update that is right for you below. If you're not sure what you need, we'll be happy to assist you. IMPORTANT: All Software Upgrades require an activation code. If you have lost your code(s), please contact us. Your code will only work with the software edition you purchased (i.e. if you purchased the CMS Professional Edition, your key will not activate the Summit or CEM Editions). It is highly recommended you make a note of where your BetaVest CMS client database is located before installing any update. You can find this out by opening up the software and on the very top bar, it will give you a computer address of the database location. The default database's address would be:
"C:\Program Files\BetaVest\data\bsdata.mdb"
Once you install your software, it reverts back to the default database. If your software is using the default database, then you should see all your clients once you have finished installing. If your database has any other address name listed, please write this location down. Once you have finished installing, you will need to point the software to that database again by clicking "File" and "Open Database" and then navigating to that location.

To download this version, the most current available today, click the button below. Make sure you are closed out of your BetaVest software before installing this version. You will be prompted to either "Run" or "Save" the file.For Windows Vista & Windows 7 computers, click the button to download, and when prompted, select "Save" and save the file to the desktop, or somewhere you can find it easily. Once downloaded, navigate to the location you saved it in and right-click the file and select "Run as Administrator". This will begin the installation.
For Windows XP computers, click the button to download and select "Run". This will begin the download, once it is complete, select "Run" again to begin the installation.
If you are running version 2.0 or less, please contact BetaVest Support because you will need to be issued new activation codes. Instead of one code managing all your activations, you will have a unique code for each installation.
If you are running version 1.1.68 or less, you will need to run the Data Converter tool to switch your database from 5 Asset Classes to 7. This tool can be found on this page under "Database Updaters".

- 7 Asset Class Data Converter
Download the Data Converter file to your computer. Close all running copies of the CASE Management Software and then run the file from the location where it was saved to install it. Accept all the defaults during installation. At the end of the installation, it should start running automatically. (If not, click the yellow BetaVest icon from the desktop to start the converter) From the main screen, go to "File" and select "Convert", which brings up a window asking you to select the database you would like to convert. Navigate to your database, select it and click “Save”. Your database will now be converted to work under the 7 Asset Class Version.
Data Converter- 2004 Return Data Updater (Pro Users Only)
Download the 2004 file to your computer. Close all running copies of the CASE Management Software and then run the file from the location where it was saved.
2004 Data Updater- 2005 Return Data Updater
Download the 2005 file to your computer. Close all running copies of the CASE Management Software and then run the file from the location where it was saved. This will install the Database Updater. Once installed, you will be asked to restart your computer. After restarting, click on the Database Updater icon on your desktop to run the updater. It will then ask you to locate your BetaVest Database. Once you find your Database and click "Open". The default location of your database would be "C:\Program Files\BetaVest\data\" and the default name would be "bsdata.mdb"; however please keep in mind you may have saved your database in a different spot under a different name.
2005 Data Updater- 2006 Return Data Updater
Download the 2006 file to your computer. Close all running copies of the CASE Management Software and then run the file from the location where it was saved. This will install the Database Updater. Once installed, you may be asked to restart your computer. After restarting, click on the Database Updater icon on your desktop to run the updater. It will then ask you to locate your BetaVest Database. Once you find your Database and click "Open". The default location of your database would be "C:\Program Files\BetaVest\data\" and the default name would be "bsdata.mdb"; however please keep in mind you may have saved your database in a different spot under a different name. - 2007 Return Data Updater
